Underground and Independent Comics, Comix, and Graphic Novels from Alexander Street Press is a database of comic books and graphic novels, from the first underground comix from the 1960’s to the works of modern sequential artists.
The Schulz Library at the Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT, has a unique collection of graphic novels, rare cartoon materials, and classic newspaper strips, as well as independently produced minicomics and zines. While the Schulz Library is not open to the public, visits can be arranged by calling (802) 295-3319.
