A note regarding tribal resources:
Tribal documents are
not widely published and are owned by
very few libraries. Some nations have posted codes &
constitutions on their own web sites. In addition, a number of
organizational sites (e.g., National Indian Law Library) reproduce or
link out to these documents.
Some documents, however, are not publically available and must be requested directly from tribal offices. It may be difficult to obtain these items within the timeframe of a single Dartmouth term, so leave plenty of time to contact tribal offices or identify alternative materials.
