LSEG Workspace: Getting Started

LSEG Workspace (fka Refinitiv) provides information on public & private global companies and includes: financials and filings, overview, news & corporate events, deals, share ownership, and analyst reports. Also includes screening and analysis for companies, deals/league tables, private equity, mergers and acquisition data, and more.

• Register for your Account:   (If off campus connect to GlobalProtect VPN first.)

1. Enter your @dartmouth.edu or @tuck.dartmouth.edu email address
   • Wait for verification email (be patient may take a few minutes and check your Junk e-mail folder)
2. Choose Product: Workspace for Students
3. Choose Add-on: AMR for Students - User Level (this is for analyst reports)
4. Wait for email confirmation of account creation. Please be patient. Account confirmation is done manually and is completed during regular business hours (Monday-Friday).

• Login to LSEG Workspace

SDC Platinum is a comprehensive financial transactions database, with content across new issues, M&A, syndicated loans, private equity, project finance, public finance, and more. 

• Request Access to SDC Platinum

1. Create an LSEG Workspace account (if you do not have an existing one)
2. Request access to SDC Platinum via LSEG Workspace 

• Use SDC Platinum in LSEG Workspace

1. Connect to LSEG Workspace 
2. In the top search box enter SDC to launch the SDC Platinum App.

To use the Excel Add-in you'll need to download Workspace Desktop:

1. Download LSEG Workspace Desktop
2. Open Excel
3. Choose the Workspace tab
4. Sign In with your LSEG/Refinitiv account
