Are you including a research assignment in your course? Check in with your subject librarian to see how they can help.

• Discuss ideas for your assignments that include Generative AI with your librarian. Would a library instruction session for your class be helpful?
• Share your syllabus with the librarian so they are aware of the requirements you've given students about the use of Generative AI in the assignment. This will be helpful when the librarian has research consultations with your students.

Generative AI tools are yet another resource you have for your own research. Librarians are actively learning these tools right along with you. Let us know if you have questions as we might be able to suggest Gen AI tools and/or tips for using them.
