And the envelope please! We are thrilled to roll out the red carpet for the inaugural Open Scholarship Commitment Award for Reproducible Research (the OSCARRs). This award shines a spotlight on Dartmouth research projects that embody the essence of reproducible research and open scholarship. High-quality open scholarship is characterized by transparency in methodology, accessible data or sources, and comprehensive documentation, allowing others to reliably replicate findings (see Open Scholarship for more).
We invite applications from three distinct categories of researchers on campus: graduate students, early-career researchers, and established scholars (5+ years of post-graduate experience). Individual and team submissions welcome. See How to Apply for more information.
The three top applicants will be invited to present the elements of their research that best represent open scholarship and reproducible research at the OSCARRs Awards Ceremony on February 28th, 2025 at 12 pm. Register here to attend the ceremony. They will also be awarded a cash prize of $1000 each.
