Participating in the Regulatory Process

Regulations.gov
Federal agencies directed to draft regulations seek public comment. This site affords the public the opportunity to participate in the regulatory process: "Make a difference. Submit your comments and let your voice be heard."

State Administrative Rules and Codes

Each state will have its own administrative rule and regulations, as well as codifications in state codes. These are often most accessible via a secretary of state or another executive branch website. Contact your liaison librarian for assistance.

Administrative Codes and Register (ACR)
ACR is a project of the National Association of Secretaries of State and provides links to registers, codes, and manuals.

Federal Court Rules

Court rules are best found at court websites. All district courts and other regional federal courts will have their rules online. Contact your liaison librarian for additional help.

The rule-making process, as well as Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedures, and Appellate Rules Forms.
