A Library Research guide (also known as a libguide) is compilation of resources created by a subject librarian. A subject librarian has expertise about the resources (databases, journals, tools, software, datasets, etc) commonly used in a given discipline. A libguide is a good starting point as you begin exploring a new discipline. Dartmouth has a subject guide for every subject area at the college, as well as several other topic guides that range from help with engineering standards or how to get setup with a tool to manage resources.
