- National Map Seamless ServerUnlike The National Map, there are no obvious joins between the various topographic maps the USGS produces. Using coordinates is best to get the area(s) you want.

Geographic data for the US (2008)
Most of the files available for download are zipped files. They either contain all the available files for a country or region or a theme layer. These are data layers from ESRI that accompany the ArcGIS software. For definitions about the different layers, please see the ESRI Data & Maps 9.3 White Paper.
