ALTA promotes literary translation through the publication of Translation Review, Annotated Books Received, the ALTA Guides to Literary Translation, the ALTA Newsletter, and through an annual conference.
- PEN America Tools for TranslatorsImportant organization that advocates for world literature (and writers). Resources on this website include directories of translators and information on grants and residencies for translation.

- Three Percent Translation DatabaseLists by year how many translations were published in English by foreign language. Also includes titles.
- IntranslationBlog with excerpts of unpublished translations. Also provides a comprehensive list of web resources, including links to MFA programs in literary translation.
