While the majority of books on journalism are in the above PN range, there are other books which reside in call number ranges for specific countries. When you look at the short list of books below, you see call numbers beginning with DS. DS is the subclass for books on the history and geography of the Asian countries. You can find scholarly articles on war reporting in a variety of publications. You can start your search in indexes such as Communication & Mass Media Complete (CMMC) or Web of Science. You can also use the search box at the top of the page.

Alternate views

Sometimes you want other views on major national or international stories rather than those from large media organizations. These resources give you access to smaller, regional papers, alternative presses and foreign publications and broadcasts.
